So I did enter my credit card in the app before seeing this post. I can see I have a pending charge for a year’s subscription on my credit card. What would be best at this point to fix what I’ve done?
Hi! I may have figured out why I got charged for joint on Substack! I was looking at my Patreon settings and I realized I may have (it was a long time ago so I’m just guessing) used the “hide my email” feature on Apple when I signed up originally. This would make it impossible to link my Patreon with my Substack account! Can this be looked into?
Hi! I added the premium content RSS to overcast yesterday and successfully listened to good morning today. But then I deleted the old premium feed (from Patreon) from my podcast list and now this one is gone too and going on the website to add to podcast player isn’t working. Has anyone else had this? Am I even making sense?
Can someone share the best place to access the premium content on Substack? Under the media tab? Or under the section that says paid? I haven’t seen any content from today and I’m just curious. It’s not showing up in Substack or in my podcast player.

Hi! Whenever I click “Manage Subscription” a message pops up saying I cannot manage subscriptions in the app. I tried going through the web browser but it redirects me to the app 🤦🏻♀️. I need help lol
I am probably jumping the gun here. I joined substack easily and got the Premium content in my podcast app (Pocket Casts). I see all the premium content and the newsletter, but where are the comments on the public podcast episodes? The "podcasts" tab just goes to Spotify. It looks like they might be under "Chat," but it is messy over there.
Okay, so today that conversation lived in our Chats (but there were lots of questions about moving day, so you have to scroll up quite a bit to find the conversation). We're still figuring out where everything goes in our new home, we may end up with a discussion post for that, but we'll see what it's like in our chat when it isn't moving day!
So, apologies if this is a silly question. Now that I have joined here, do I cancel membership in Patreon now? Or do I just let it play out and it will automatically finish. I don't want to cancel membership in Patreon only to find that means Substack doesn't comp the first month because they can't see I was previously subscribed.
Also, I was paying NZ $9 a month and now the cheapest option is NZ$25 a month- which is quite the leap. Will there be any cheaper options going forward?

I just had to drop in and say WOW, this was so easy! I have various subscriptions in Patreon and Substack and this is the first one that's moved 100% from Patreon to Substack - it was easy to subscribe - and I LOVE that I get my bonus episodes in Spotify now!! Also - love that now I have ONE place to find y'all - one less thing to think about in a season when there are SO MANY things to think about!
If we were on the $5/mo that doesn’t exist anymore that still had several months left that means we’ll be charged next month if we switch to the new annual, right? I paid annually on Patreon. My Patreon was good until 2/1, but Substack shows I’ll be charged on 11/14.
Hey Charity! Stripe's been slow to update current comp dates, but confirming you won't get charged until your Patreon plan expires. You should see accurate comp dates reflected by early next week. We just didn't want to slow down moving day!
I was a patreon subscriber who paid monthly, so my next payment was due Nov 1st. But you guys are saying we get a month free (thank you!). So if I pay the annual amount now, will my next payment be December 1st 2025? And will the discounted annual payment be around awhile?
The annual rate includes 3 months free (25% off) but it is charged when you sign up. But your monthly would be after the free month (and those billing dates will be adjusted as the engineers at substack migrate the payment dates all at once...maybe as we speak). -m

Because I’m in the middle of a Patreon annual subscription here it says I’m already subscribed and I can’t get any options. Same as Melissa the button doesn’t work for me!

The button shows subscribed already for me, I think it's the free 30 days because the end date is next month. It appears that I would also be charged immediately if I tried to subscribe now but I haven't finished the process to confirm
Kristina, I was able to select an annual subscription and enter my credit card number. It didn't charge me but I can see under "Manage Subscription" where it has everything correct now. On that page, there is a section called "Subscription" where it says the Plan (mine is now set to annual since I selected it today) and Status. Then farther down I see where it has my Credit Card saved under "Payment Information" so it will charge that once my Patreon subscription ends (at the end of the month since my Patreon used to charge me on the 1st of each month). I'm thinking if you don't see those things, it doesn't have your credit card and selected plan yet.
It definitely doesn't have my credit card yet, but my subscription is still listed as the complementary one so I am waiting a bit to see if the correct info flows over from patreon. I'm annual there and shouldn't be up for renewal until July

I was given no options. It just says I’m already subscribed. I can’t click on the button. It does nothing but says ✅ subscribed.
I had that problem on the app, but was able to select my preferred level on the mobile web version.
