I just read her obituary and learned that Rebekah was extraordinary woman and deeply loved and admired and cherished by her loved ones. May her memory be a blessing.

At Texas A&M, we say “here” when someone passes to signify that their spirit lives on in the soul of our community. I know Rebekah wasn’t an Aggie, but I can tell her spirit will carry on in the Pantsuit Politics community.

Here.

Oh this breaks my heart wide open. Rebekah and I were roommates for the live event in Paducah. She was brave enough to respond “yes” to my Facebook post seeking a roommate for the weekend. The first night we stayed up until 2 AM sharing our life stories and spent the rest of the weekend connecting over our love for our families, our communities and of course Pantsuit Politics. I’m so thankful I got to share that special experience with her.

Sending so much love to her family and everyone who was lucky enough to have her in their life. Her bravery and joy will continue to be an inspiration to me ❤️.

I know - I only met her that one time and through the comments here and on Facebook! But, it was so clear that she was such a lovely person. And I'm really sad that she's gone.
