I can never find the right places to put things in Substack. So I’m putting this here cuz I so enjoyed Beth’s Murder Mystery Dinner.
A friend had invited me along with a gaggle of friends to her vacation home for the weekend of the 4th. I suggested Beth’s MMMT and my friend’s Gen Z assistant DA daughter took it on herself as the host and knocked it out of the park.
The food was a roast and root vegetables, homemade bread and colonial pies. She made lovely props. And she really cast the murderer PERFECTLY.
And on a personal note - I got to wear a dress my mom made for me when I was 15. My mom passed just 6 months after making that dress, so it was so sweet to have her at the table with me.
