Special education sits at the intersection of so many systems, which means its politics are complicated and dense and not very transparent.
Today, I want to talk about the politics:
Funding for special education;
the unrealized promise of IDEA;
the Department of Education;
the critical role that Medicaid plays; and
the school choice issue.
