Promptly turning to Spotify to play Candy Rain on repeat for the foreseeable future. Thanks, Sarah!

Do, do, do listen to Ezra’s conversation with Sara McBride. It was amazing & I find common threads from their conversation & yours & Beth’s spicy episode this week - relationship & grace - were threads in both conversations.

I should be doing a lot of things for my tiny small business, but I’m over here eating It’s It’s and seeking out 90s trance classics that I downloaded on Limewire back in college.

Also? I love Candy Rain.

I feel this in my bones. I feel like everything has amped up in seriousness and yet I cannot get back to the engagement in current events I had even weeks ago. I’ve gone from listening to multiple podcasts to just listening Pantsuit, and occasionally Ezra Klein or Pivot. Speaking of Ezra Klein I am halfway through that episode and it’s insightful. But honestly, I just want to read this new lesbian vampire book by V.E. Schwab, listen to Fleetwood Mac, and pretend it’s a different decade than this one.

Girl preach! Read the smut, eat the ice cream and don’t “should” all over yourself! Life has been hard but it’s summer time! And that means rest, relax, reframe and reset! My theme for summer…”i’ve got no fucks left to give”!

I heard Al Franken speak at an event at the beginning of 2017. I don’t have a strong opinion about him resigning, but I was just thinking that he was a good communicator and it would be nice to have his voice out there more right now.

Holy sh*t! Your newsletter hit me like a bolt of lightning. I have been harboring a “lost love” crush for way too effing long. I recognize that the infinite wisdom of the universe took me in a different direction. On purpose.

Thank God.

How can giving away ME be good for a healthy relationship?

It can’t. Full stop.

Read that again.

Let go of the BS of your 20’s and savor your ‘wherever you are’s”.

I am humbly grateful. Thank you for writing today’s newspaper. You totally nailed it! I will be forever grateful.

I may have left work early to take my kiddos to the pool. It’s the summer solstice, if any day says put it all down it’ll keep its this one.

👏👏👏👏I should write words, but the clap emojis feel enough so I’ll leave it at that.

We just rented a private karaoke room for my husband’s 40th birthday and it was so fun. Even our friends who said they wouldn’t sing joined in and when the time was up, no one wanted to leave. Bring on the fun and the singing!

I love all the new pop songs but I keep coming back to the Sunny Day Playlist on Spotify with Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill, Sixpense None the Richer, the Cranberrries, Fleetwood Mac, etc and it just feels right. Can't get enough.

God bless you in the battle against the bird mites. Just reading those words sent a shivering decades-old memory up my spine. One of the most miserable things we had to do with our family. Prayers are with you
