Also, I did not mean to share misinformation (I just apparently do watch more of The Office than regular people. The People Magazine cover pictured is not the real cover.
The joke started there but since then they've played it up in different ways that have delighted me. Here's one example from when John's movie came out: https://youtu.be/6QzggPsjJKc?si=RxqR-KhalVzFVqST
Is having a fun sense of humor sexy? Damn straight!
The visual schedule for December is SO genius and makes me ridiculously happy (?!). So thank you for that whoever had the idea for it and put it together!
I agree!! So good. I’m also a fan of just saying this should serve as your benchmark going forward, unless of course it proves to be too much and adjustments are always available! I guess I just mean to say that I don’t think you should feel pressured to go back to the prior production schedule. This seems like more than enough. ✨
In the MTS discussing what’s next, it was mentioned the switch to Substack and Lemonada. I don’t recall any discussion about joining the Lemonada network. I believe before you were an independent podcast. Why the change? How does this help you all?
For the last few years a podcasting advertising angency called Acast that has booked and sold the ads you hear on Pantsuit Politics. For a number of reasons, Lemonada is a better fit for Pantsuit Politics right now because they are partnering with podcasts that are for smart, thoughtful people who like great conversations (other podcasts in the Lemonada Network are Wiser than Me by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Everything Happens with Kate Bowler, Sam Bee, and more) which we hope will mean that you hear fewer ads that are more relevant to you (while being sustainable for us) on the free episodes of Pantsuit Politics.
I would think of it more like how sometimes you watch football on Amazon Prime and sometimes the games are on CBS and sometimes the games are on ESPN, but that doesn't change who own the Kansas City Chiefs, it's just how they show up on your television.
I really like this roundup and the surfacing of some high quality Spice Cabinet comments - nice way to experience the chat even if I’m not fully caught up yet.
Brilliant clip from Almost Famous - Thanks
Crock pot stuffing is the way to go. Tasty, easy, and doesn't take precious oven space https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/13571/slow-cooker-stuffing/
*Immediately rewatches Almost Famous*

This is the real cover: https://people.com/sexiest-man-alive-2024-john-krasinski-cover-story-8743932
This is the scene from The Office: https://youtu.be/cLNyF1Zw5tg?si=GozAKk9Gj6B_1QNm
Wait, why is Randall Park’s face on Jon Krasinki’s body?
This is a fun watch! https://youtu.be/cLNyF1Zw5tg?si=IVNa7qQReiZMTIWR

It’s a joke from The Office. It’s not really the People Magazine cover. Clearly…my husband watches The Office more than…everyone.

We are still, and plan to always be, an independent podcast.
Thanks for the thorough response. You guys are the best!!!
Lemonada is our new advertising partner.

Sarah and Beth discussed this move a little bit on this episode: https://www.pantsuitpoliticsshow.com/show-archives/2024/11/12/donald-trump-master-politician
I guess it shows I am behind in my listening to the full episodes. I only been keeping up with Premium while on vacation
The visual schedule of the content uploads is perfect, really helped me wrap my head around what content is arriving when.

Is the break room the name of the newsletter?
Yes! That is one of the things we decided over our retreat
Enjoy your time off. Let’s hope *gestures wildly* all of this takes some time off too.
Love this picture of you all! Hope you have a wonderful week off next week and lots of quality time with those you love!
