That's huge -- stating this as a former journalist in the daily editorial meetings deciding on art -- it's a big deal if you get used in the art! You might get more listeners/subscribers from this. I also appreciate the transparency of the $$s and cents of it all; that's helpful for other Substackers and dreamers out there and the honesty of the fact that you all still have nerves about it all. I'm constantly telling people they need to listen to you and how helpful it is. I decided recently that I'm going to start recommending it to much younger people b/c I think they are so stressed about the world (high school and college age) and you two do such good work making the nightmare that is out there NOT FEEL SO BAD. The context y'all provide - especially in the premium content - really helps the average human suss out the world. CONGRATS!!! You both are such inspirations of persistence!!!

I can’t manage comments very often in this season of grad school and work but I rarely miss an episode and have prioritized your work in a really tough season because as a counselor I think it is really important to know what’s going on in the world - even though it would be easier not to most days. So thankful for you both!❤️
