I really do love that you are bringing members of Congress on the show, but the episodes can be a little hard to listen to. To me, they tend to feel more like campaign speeches than conversations 😩

Yes, I felt that this sounded more like a stump speech than a conversation—which sucks, because she seems great.

I voted for her! But we’re moving out of MI before the 2026 election. 😢 On the plus side I’ll be in SC voting for Dr Annie Andrews over Lindsey Graham.

PS Annie Andrews would be a great guest!

I lived in West Bloomfield before district 11 was re-drawn. I was not in 11, but now I would be. My district was 14 i think. From 2013 to 2023, districts 11, 14, and 9 were in interlocking spirals. It looked really dumb.

Gonna be a tough choice as a Michigander between Haley Stevens and Mallory McMorrow! I’ve also seen Abdul el Sayed out at several protests and really appreciated that.

I enjoyed this conversation—Haley is *so* Michigan, and I love it.

Michigander here and agree we’ve got great choices. I wish they could both win.

So true! Michigan Dem primary is going to be a tough choice for both Senator and Governor!

I’m so confused-is she calling Sarah by the wrong name or am I not paying attention?

I thought that, too, until I realized that she was answering questions that Beth initially asked, but then Sarah had more commentary.
