We have a standing team meeting on Monday mornings. This week, Alise said the truest thing: “I just want to box this year up, put it on the shelf, and be done with it.”
No particular disrespect to 2025. I always feel this way at the end of the year. I want to move on, but first, I need to sort and categorize. I need to make a little bit of meaning of what was. Alise’s metaphor is exactly what I crave at year end: boxes and shelves. So, I sat down with my remarkable to organize the chaos. It helped me thank 2025 through gritted teeth and send it on its way. I’m thankful for all of you and excited to see you back here in January.
