As a fan of Beth's More to Say, can we please have updates on the people the Trump Administration's is investigating and harassing for disloyalty, treason or whatever.
One of the few defenses I have found to too much news is to ignore any article that follows the form of “here’s how we may have to deal with the results of this bad thing that Trump wants to do”. And that makes a YOOGE dent in the words spilled!
More seriously, although I do mean what I said, is that a strategy that I try to do imperfectly is to absorb enough of each new story that I can hopefully draw connections between related stories over time. There’s chaos, but there’s also a through line. You guys are wonderful at referring back to earlier stories weeks or months (and now years!) ago. I find comfort, or at least equilibrium, in finding those through lines.
